Super nice, great advice
With the goal to get to the Hobbiton Movie Set I went to rent a bike spontaneously at Pedal Power Bike Hire and didn’t get disappointed! The owner was super nice and gave me great advice on what bike to get. During the whole day he stayed reachable over WhatsApp in case of emergencies or questions and I felt in very good hands. The ride to Hobbiton was absolutely beautiful and I would totally recommend renting a bike at Pedal Power Bike Hire to get there!

Super comfy electric bikes
Super comfy electric bikes and actually the only ones you can find around! I am traveling without a car and there is no public transport that can take you to the Falls or even to Hobbiton. Electric bike is the best solution to explore around via lovely countryside roads and get to your wish destinations. Very friendly family running the rental.

Great info and support
My husband-of-four-days and I rented two e-bikes and did Section E of one of the great cycles of Aotearoa. Steve and his wife Rochelle were really good with us, they gave us great info and support to have the confidence to embark on round trip almost 80km trip. I don’t ride bikes, I’m very proud of myself for finishing.
